BIOS - Auto Detect

The BIOS - AUTO DETECT will attempt to query the drive for the drive characteristics (number of cylinders, heads, sectors, model number, etc.) and automatically configure the drive. The 'Auto detect' feature is available when the user selects both 'AUTO TYPE' and 'AUTO MODE' in BIOS Setup.
